Dave is a graduate of Ithaca College, School of Communications. Upon graduation, Dave packed his car and headed for Los Angeles. After arriving, he pursued his interest in writing while finding work in the cutting room of feature films.

Through observation and conversation with his co-workers, including editor Debra Neil-Fisher, he learned how the power of editing can shape a story. His interest in writing complimented his interest in the cutting room, as both are powerful forms of storytelling.

Dave has had the honor of working with some amazing people on films such as 'The Hangover Trilogy', 'The Austin Powers' trilogy, 'Ted' 1 & 2, 'Fifty Shades Of Grey', and most recently 'Chips'.

As a writer, Dave wrote for 'Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles'.
